How the energy of hydrogen
The reaction is 2H2 + O2 ____> 2H2O
This reaction is not spontaneous, otherwise the water would be generated spontaneously.
This form of energy has already been tested in engines, so we see trucks, machines, coortadoras run on hydrogen, which can leave the water.
There are several problems with this energy. The electrodes are used platinum-based catalysts, and platinum is expensive.
The power of the fuel cell has a direct dependence with the speed of reactions. The reduction kinetics of oxygen is slow, I realize that we still need research to find catalysts capable of accelerating this reaction.
The hydrogen storage also has problems like transportation.
